Конспект урока английского языка в 11 классе по теме « A job of my dreamc использованием технологии проблемного обучения.

Цель урока: обобщение и систематизация умений и навыков учащихся на основе монологических высказываний п$о теме в форме дискуссии.

Задачи урока:

Практическая: развитие коммуникативных умений учащих$ся по теме « A job of my dreamчерез развитие умений аудирования, чтения и говорения.

Развивающая: Развивать воображение, творческое и критическое мышление, способность логически излагать, развивать умение сравнивать, анализировать.

Ход урока:

1. Greeting.

Teacher: Dear friends, I’d like you to look at the screen. What do you think about looking at these pictures? Can you guess what are we going to speak about?

  • You quite right, we are going to discuss a problem HOW TO CHOOSE A GOOD JOB?

2. Brain storm activity

  • What are your imaginations when you hear “successful person”?

  • Who can explain us the meaning of the word “career”?

    $

  • What does the job mean in people’s life?

  • Is it important or not?

3. Teacher: I think it’s time to speak about our plans and interests. What would you like to be?

(Before the lesson two students have a task to prepare a video film on the topic what would you like to be? And analyze the results of the research.

4. Teacher: Thank you very much. You are an excellent journalist and psychologist$.

5. Teacher: I see that choosing a profession is very important for you. Do you agree everybody should have special qualities and abilities for the job?

Now I would like you to play a psycho$logical game “Hot chair”

The game is simple. One of you will sit down on the chair, the others will speak honestly about his or hers traits of character. And psychologist will give comments

6. Teacher: now let’s come to more serious things. You know choosing a profession is a main problem for our school-leavers. A good job? What does it mean for you?

6. Teacher: You know there are highly-paid and low-paid, challenging and boring jobs. Now I’d like you to discuss the following questions:

  • What kind of job would you like to have? (easy, difficult, prestigious, non- prestigious, low-paid, high-paid$)

  • What your family and friends think about your choice? (agree, disagree, approve, advice something, support)

  • What kind of job would you least like to have? (low-paid, difficult and complex, stressful, boring, dangerous, extremely irritating, tiresome)

  • What jobs, if any, do you think should only be done by men/ women?

  • What’s more important for you – earning money or having a job you en$joy?

7. Group work – discussing problem questions. You know on the way to your future career you’ll come across difficulties. Let’s discuss.

  • 1 group: What do you consider a good job for you? Why?

  • 2 group: What do you expect from your future job?

  • 3 group:

Decide which qualities are important for a successful career: are they more professional or personal? Explain your opinion.$ Make a list of 8-10 qualities

  • 4 group:

Male and female professions. Make a list of such professions.

8. Decision of the problem:

To choose a good job you should:

  • perfectly know what kind of job would you like to have

  • What do you expect from your job

  • Have you special qualities and abilities for this job

8. Conclusion. Writing a sinkwein.
